Cookie Policy

This Cookie Policy explains what cookies and similar technologies Crackerjack uses on www.crackerjack.live and the Crackerjack app, and how you can control them. It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy.

On your first visit, only Necessary cookies are active — the handful required to keep the site running. Nothing in the Analytics or Marketing categories is set until you make an active choice in the cookie banner or the preference center: Accept all, Reject all, or a custom selection saved through Manage preferences. Your choice is stored in a first-party cookie (cj_cookie_consent) for up to 180 days, after which we ask again. You can change your mind at any time — from anywhere on the site, or use the same link in the footer.

2. Categories of cookies we use

Necessary (always on)

Required for core functionality: keeping you signed in, remembering your cookie choice itself, load-balancing, and protecting against fraud and abuse. The Platform cannot function correctly without these, so they are not subject to opt-out.

  • cj_cookie_consent — stores your cookie preference. Set the moment you make a choice; up to 180 days.
  • Session/auth cookies — keep you signed in and your session secure. Session length or up to 30 days for "remember me".
  • Cloudflare Turnstile — the security check at sign-up and sign-in that tells people from automated bots. It may store a short-lived token while the check runs.

Analytics (opt-in)

Helps us understand how people use Crackerjack — which pages are visited, how long a session lasts, and where users drop off — so we can improve the booking flow. No analytics cookie is written to your browser until you enable this category. Vercel Speed Insights, which measures how quickly pages load, also runs only after you enable this category.

Marketing (opt-in)

Used to measure the performance of our campaigns and, where enabled, to show you more relevant Crackerjack messaging on other platforms. No marketing or advertising cookie is written to your browser until you enable this category.

3. Third-party cookies

Where we use a third-party analytics or advertising provider, that provider only receives data and is only permitted to set a cookie once you have opted into the relevant category above. We do not permit third-party tracking scripts to load before consent is recorded.

4. Browser-level controls

In addition to our preference center, most browsers let you block or delete cookies directly in their settings. Blocking Necessary cookies at the browser level may prevent parts of the Platform — such as staying signed in — from working correctly.

5. Changes to this policy

We may update this Cookie Policy as our use of cookies changes. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above, and where we introduce a new cookie category, we will ask for your consent again before it is used.
