Crackerjack compared
Crackerjack and Eventbrite
Self-serve ticketing, worldwide
What Eventbrite is good at
Eventbrite is the most mature self-serve ticketing tool there is. Anyone can put an event up in minutes, anywhere in the world, and the tooling around registration and check-in is years ahead of most of the market.
Where we differ
It assumes you have already sorted out who is performing. The booking, the fee, and the risk of the artist not turning up are yours to manage. Crackerjack treats that as part of the same job as selling the ticket.
Side by side
| Capability | Eventbrite | Crackerjack |
|---|---|---|
| Put an event up yourself in minutes | Mature, well-built tooling | Yes — poster, tiers, capacity, publish |
| A roster of artists to hire | Not what it's built for | Verified profiles with rates and availability |
| Hold the artist's fee until the show happens | Artist fees are arranged off-platform | Held from booking until you confirm the set happened |
| Built for Indian payments and pricing | Global product, global defaults | Rupee pricing and UPI-first checkout |
Compared on what each platform is built to do, from what each publishes publicly. We haven't compared fees: Eventbrite doesn't publish a single rate that applies to everyone, and we're not going to guess at one.
Plenty of nights need both platforms. If you want the booking and the tickets in one place, that's the part we built.
